CCP Games announced today on Twitter that it will organize a "PLEX For GOOD" event to help those affected by the jungles in Australia. Although no exact details of how it works are known, the event took place after the EVE online community asked the Icelanders to organize a charity event.

EVE Online has a long history of philanthropic activity, collects donations for capable players at EVE Vegas every year and organizes popular charity nights every year at EVE Fanfest to help the community in Australia.
